— how you live it.
Meta-Age is a different way of seeing life — through identity, not age.
We are surrounded by instructions. Walk this many steps. Eat this much protein. Sleep this long.
Useful, maybe — but knowing what we should do doesn’t tell us who we are.
Meta-Age begins with one idea:
Participation Over Withdrawal.
And one question:
Are you participating or withdrawing from life?

The Meta-Age Golden Ticket
A preventative, behaviour-led initiative being explored with NHS North West and Central.
Instead of telling people what to do, it asks them to choose one small health habit and declare: I’M IN.
Participants invite family, friends or colleagues to choose their own habits — the habit is personal, the accountability is shared.
It requires no new NHS infrastructure and no clinical delivery. The individual owns the behaviour.
Our Voice
Forty short-form publications explore sex, identity, money, relationships, movement, retirement, dying and the ordinary realities of life.
Different subjects. The same underlying question.
There will not be edition 41.
The Library is finite. Like a music collection, you choose what speaks to you and return to it when you want it.
Meta-Age in Practice
Meta-Age isn’t only something to read.
The Meta-Age MOT, KunAqua and JUMPGA put the thinking into practice.
Different applications. Different environments. The same underlying idea.
Participation Over Withdrawal.
A Meta-Ager
A Meta-Ager isn’t defined by age, fitness, occupation or lifestyle.
People participate differently — through family, work, movement, friendship, learning, creativity, contribution or simply remaining interested in the world around them.
The activity isn’t the point. Your participation is.
Are you a Meta-Ager?
